D5. SCOPE OF WORKD5.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of creating and implementing a centraldispatch service that can coordinate and schedule on-demand wheelchair accessible vehicles(WAV) from multiple approved licenced dispatchers from the date of award, to the end ofDecember 2023, with the option of two (2) mutually agreed upon one (1) year extensions.D5.1.1 The City may negotiate the extension option with the Proponent within ninety (90) CalendarDays prior to the expiry date of the Contract. The City shall incur no liability to theProponent as a result of such negotiations.D5.1.2 Changes resulting from such negotiations shall become effective on anniversary date ofthe respective year. Changes to the Contract shall not be implemented by the Contractorwithout written approval by the Contract Administrator.D5.1.3 Proponents are advised that, in future, the City may be participating in collaborativeprocurement initiatives with other levels of government. Accordingly, extensions to thisContract may not be exercised.
